How to delete your Auto Parqueo account

You can delete your Auto Parqueo account and the personal data attached to it at any time, and there are two ways to do it: yourself, from inside the app, or by asking us by email from this page — without reinstalling anything and without phoning anyone. This page explains both, what is erased and what is kept.

Last updated: 23 August 2026

Request deletion now

This is the route that does not depend on the app: it works even if you have uninstalled it or can no longer sign in. The message is already written: fill in the details it asks for and send it from the address you use to sign in.

Send the deletion request by email

If your email program does not open on its own, write to privacidad@autoparqueo.com with the subject “Account deletion request” and include your account email address.

Deleting it from the app

If you have Auto Parqueo installed and can sign in, open Settings and tap “Delete account”. After an explicit confirmation the deletion runs there and then: immediate and permanent, with nobody to approve it and nothing to write to us. The account email is freed up, so you can sign up again from scratch.

Two cases the app does not settle: platform administration accounts cannot be deleted from there, and if your account still has an open cash register we ask you to close that shift first, so no till is left unbalanced. Neither one leaves you stuck, because the email route above stands on its own: no app installed, no reinstall, and no need to be able to sign in.

What happens next

If you delete the account from the app there is no “next”: you confirm and it happens there and then. When the request arrives by email, this is the procedure:

  1. We receive the request and confirm it comes from the account holder. If it arrives from another address, we ask for extra verification.
  2. We reply to confirm we have it, usually within 2 business days.
  3. We close access immediately, so nobody can sign in with that account while the deletion is processed.
  4. We erase the data within 30 days of confirmation at the latest, and tell you when it is done.

What gets erased

  • The account and its access: that email will no longer sign in.
  • Profile details: name, email, phone number and picture.
  • The link to your Google account, if you signed in with Google.
  • Your device’s notification token: alerts stop.
  • Photos you uploaded that do not back up a recorded payment.
  • Plates and vehicles you registered under your name that are not part of an accounting record.

What is kept, and why

Some information does not leave with the account:

  • Payment, subscription and invoicing records. Bolivian accounting and tax rules require us to keep them even after an account is closed. They stay attached to the parking lot, not to your profile.
  • The lot’s operational records — entries, exits and charges — belong to the owner’s business, not to the attendant account that entered them. If you were an attendant, those movements are kept without your identity: your name is replaced by a generic reference.
  • A minimal security log, so we can show what happened if a dispute or an investigation comes up later.
  • Backups may still contain the data until the backup rotation replaces them. They are never opened except to restore the system after a disaster.

Deactivating is not deleting

A deactivated account loses access, but its data is still stored and the parking lot owner can switch it back on at any time. Deletion is permanent: no reactivation, no undo, and we cannot bring back what was erased. If you only want to pause an employee, deactivate them. If you want nothing left, request deletion.

If you are a parking lot owner

Deleting your account also closes your team’s access to the lot you manage and ends your software subscription. It does not automatically refund the period already paid — check the cancellation policy in the Terms and Conditions first. If you need a copy of your reports, ask for it in the same email and we will send it before erasing anything.

If you are an attendant

You do not need the owner’s permission to request deletion of your personal account. The account is yours. The lot’s records belong to the business and are kept without your identity, as explained above.
