Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data we handle in the Auto Parqueo mobile app, in the app.autoparqueo.com web panel and on this website; what we use it for, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to be understood in one read. If anything is unclear, write to us and we will explain it.

1. Who handles your data
The data controller is René Huanco, registered at Av Juan de la Rosa y C. Atacama 1425, Cochabamba, Bolivia, the developer of the Auto Parqueo app and of the app.autoparqueo.com web panel.
For anything privacy related — questions, corrections, deletion — write to privacidad@autoparqueo.com. We reply within 15 business days at the latest.
2. What this covers
This policy covers three things:
- The Auto Parqueo Android app, used by parking lot owners and their attendants.
- The app.autoparqueo.com web panel, which is the same account seen from a browser.
- This website, autoparqueo.com, which is informational and needs no account.
It does not cover what happens at the parking lot outside the system. Parking is paid in cash or by bank transfer, outside the app, and that arrangement is between the parking lot and its customer.
3. What we collect and why
We ask only for what the system needs to work. The table below is the complete list, and it matches the Data safety declaration published on Google Play.
| Data | What it is used for | Shared with |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | Create and identify the account, send the one-time sign-in code and service notices. | Only with the provider that delivers the email to your inbox. |
| First and last name | Show who is on shift, sign tickets and attribute each movement in reports. | No one. Visible to the owner of the lot where you work. |
| Phone number | Day-to-day contact between the owner and the team, and support when you ask for it. | No one. |
| Google identity (ID, email, name and picture) | Verify who you are when you sign in with Google, without a password. | We receive it from Google. We send Google nothing about your parking lot. |
| One-time sign-in code (OTP) | Confirm the mailbox is yours. It lives for 15 minutes and then stops working. | No one. |
| Licence plates and vehicle type | Record entry and exit, calculate the time-based charge, print the ticket and build reports. | No one. |
| Photos of payment receipts | Back up a payment or a customer’s monthly subscription. | No one. Stored privately and viewed through short-lived links. |
| Parking lot details (name, address, coordinates, hours) | Identify the lot inside the system and, if the owner opts in, show it on the public map on this site. | Publicly only if the owner asks to appear on the map. |
| User identifier and activity log | Security, support and traceability: who signed in, who charged, who voided. | No one. |
| Device push notification token | Send push alerts (a payment received, a subscription about to expire). | Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging), which carries the alert. |
| Technical connection data (IP address, date and time) | Server logs: spotting abuse, diagnosing failures. | No one. |
| IP address when you view the map on this site | Download the map images so your browser can draw them. | OpenStreetMap, which serves those images. |
4. Where the data comes from
- From you, when you create the account, fill in your profile or register a vehicle.
- From Google, when you choose to sign in with Google.
- From using the system: entry and exit times, calculated amounts, audit records.
- From the parking lot owner, when they add an attendant or a customer with a monthly subscription. If your data arrived that way, it is the parking lot that must inform you; we provide the system where it is stored.
5. What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal data. Not to anyone, at any price.
- We do not use your data for advertising and we do not hand it to ad networks.
- We do not build commercial profiles or make automated decisions that affect you.
- We do not request background location, your contacts, or the contents of your photo gallery. The camera and photos are used only at the moment you tap the button to read a plate or attach a receipt.
6. Who we share it with
The full list of third parties involved is short, and it does not grow without this page being updated:
- Google, for sign-in. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google confirms your identity and gives us your email, name and profile picture.
- Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging), for push notifications. It receives your device token and the content of the alert sent to you.
- Our outbound email server, which delivers the message containing your sign-in code.
- No one else. Everything else — database, receipt photos, reports — lives on our own server, run by us and hosted on secure cloud infrastructure. It is not a third-party service with access to your data.
- The competent authority, if a court order or a valid legal request compels us to hand over information. Where the law allows us to tell you, we will.
7. This website
autoparqueo.com uses no cookies, opens no session, and carries no analytics or tracking pixels. Sessions are switched off deliberately. Browsing here leaves nothing behind beyond the ordinary technical logs any web server keeps.
The one exception is the map: the image tiles it is made of are downloaded straight from tile.openstreetmap.org, so the OpenStreetMap Foundation sees your IP address and the browser you use — the same as any server your device asks for an image. If you never reach the map section, that request never happens.
8. How we protect the information
- All traffic between the app, the panel and the server is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS.
- We do not use passwords. You sign in with a one-time code emailed to you, valid for 15 minutes, or with Google. There is no password database for anyone to steal.
- Each account sees only its own parking lot. An attendant cannot reach another lot’s reports, and an owner cannot reach another owner’s.
- Photos of payment receipts are stored privately and shown through links that expire. They are never left sitting at a permanent public address.
- We record who performed each sensitive operation — sign-ins, charges, voided sessions — so a problem or an abuse can be investigated.
No system is infallible. If a breach affects your data, we will write to your account email as soon as we confirm it, with what we know and what we recommend you do.
9. How long we keep it
- While the account is active we keep the data the system needs to work.
- If you ask for deletion, we delete the account and the associated personal data within 30 days at the latest.
- Payment, subscription and invoicing records are kept for as long as Bolivian accounting and tax rules require, even after you close your account. In those records your identity is reduced to the bare minimum.
- Backups are overwritten on a rotation. A deleted item may survive in a backup until the rotation replaces it, and that copy is never opened except to restore the system after a disaster.
10. Your rights
Regarding your personal data, you can ask us for:
- Access: a copy of what we hold about you.
- Correction: fixing anything wrong or incomplete.
- Deletion: erasing your account and your data, with the accounting exceptions described above.
- A copy of your reports in a format you can open elsewhere.
- Stopping push notifications, either from your phone settings or by asking us.
To delete your account you can do it yourself from inside the app, under Settings. For anything else — or if you would rather ask for the deletion by email — write to privacidad@autoparqueo.com from your account email address. If you write from a different address we will ask you to verify first: we are not going to delete someone’s account on a stranger’s say-so.
If you believe we are handling your data improperly, you may also turn to the competent authority in Bolivia and to the constitutional privacy protection action (acción de protección de privacidad).
11. Deleting your account
You can delete your account yourself from inside the app, under Settings, or ask for it by email without reinstalling anything. Account deletion has a page of its own, covering both routes step by step, what gets erased, what is kept and how long it takes.
12. Minors
Auto Parqueo is a work tool. It is not directed at minors and we do not knowingly create accounts for them. If we find one, we remove it.
13. Changes to this policy
If what we collect or what we use it for changes, we update this page along with the date in the header and, when the change is material, we give notice inside the app or by email before it takes effect. This page and the Google Play Data safety form are kept consistent: change one, change the other.
14. Contact
Privacy matters: privacidad@autoparqueo.com. Anything else: contacto@autoparqueo.com.
